Children's Liturgy of the Word 2023

The February 12 session will begin with the readings of the day. During the interactive homily we will discuss how angry fighting and refusing to forgive can put a wall between what we want to give to God. The children will work together to build a wall out of blocks and then will take turns giving examples of ways to resolve conflicts. For each example, blocks will be removed until the wall is broken down. Children will color a picture to take home with the caption “Do not let a wall get in the way of what you want to give to God”. The children will complete the picture by adding a detachable wall to it. The session will conclude with lollipops and stickers.
