Presentation of the Lord - Candlemas Day
Before daily Mass, Father Perry gathered the faithful for a few moments of catechesis as he explained the history of Candlemas Day. As can be seen in the photos, a large table displayed the various candles used throughout the liturgical year.
Afterwards about 80 people followed the altar server and processed into the church.
This teaching moment was well received by those in attendance.
