The Ministry of the Greeter

At the doors to our church, one is met and welcomed to the celebration of our Massby a greeter saying “Welcome to St Joseph’s”.  Giving smiles and opening the doors, the greeter sets the spirit to those who come for the ceremony. This is the first encounter we offer as missionary disciples.

The Greeter is our first to honor and express happiness to those who join us. And, is the first to offer assistance or information about our parish and the services the St. Joseph community can provide.

In the Ministry of the Greeter, one acts as a missionary disciple. One encounters Christ and realizes the gift he or she has received.  One shares the gift of grace.
