LECTOR MINISTRY

St. Joseph Parish welcomes new lectors. This ministry is a wonderful work for the Lord which calls for a person to grow in warm and loving knowledge of Scripture. Being a lector gives you an opportunity for your own personal growth in Christ Jesus.

During the months September through May, lectors will usually be scheduled once a month. During the busy summer months, lectors may be scheduled every other week. You will always be able to select your Mass preference. Lector certification from the diocese is usually offered twice yearly-fall and spring.
