BEREAVEMENT MINISTRY
This ministry is a quiet ministry. You don’t ever think about it until the time comes.
These disciples assist and guide the grieving family with an appropriate selection of scripture and hymns to honor their loved one.
The encounter with the family members requires the gift of listening and compassion so that they can accompany the family through these most difficult times.
The responsibilities of this ministry includes meeting with the family, offering support and assisting at the funeral in various ministry positions.
