The Catholic Daughters Court Our Lady of Mercy #1655 marked their 60th anniversary with a mass of celebration inside Saint Joseph Catholic Church on June 18, 2013

Dozens of chapter members and their families were present while Reverend Joseph Perreault, Pastor of Saint Joseph Church, and Deacon Joseph Murphy celebrated the Eucharist and lead the congregation in prayer in honor of the Court’s six decades of good work. During the mass – in addition to a lovingly prepared liturgy and well-planned musical arrangements – the names of numerous women who served as the organization’s Regent over the years were announced. Some of the past-regents were present – others were remembered fondly in prayer. Throughout the entire service, the Catholic Daughter’s motto of “Unity and Charity” served as a prevailing theme.

After the mass ended, the Daughters enjoyed a festive dinner at Andrea Trattoria Restaurant in Sea Isle City’s Fish Alley.
