KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

MADONNA MARIA COUNCIL #3560

Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to practicing Catholic men in union with the Holy See, who shall not be less than 18 years of age. A practicing Catholic is one who lives up to the Commandments of God and the Precepts of the Church. Membership is for men in every walk of life who wish to be part of a united organization, efficiently going about its tasks of charity, fraternity, patriotism and defense of the priesthood. The organization offers the opportunity for fellowship with those who are of the same belief, who recognize the same duty to God, to family and to neighbor and who stand together in defense of those beliefs.

Members of our Council are heavily involved in activities year round. Programs include the annual Spelling Bee competition, Foul Shooting contests, Food Pantry (weekly distribution of food stuffs to needy families), Fund Raising activities, sup-porting Catholic Education, working with the elderly residents at Crest Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation facility.

If you are a dad who is interested in a lively and positive organization which supports Catholic principles in our developing youngsters, come and experience the activities of the Madonna Maria Council of the Knights of Columbus, I assure you , you will be warmly welcomed.

If you are a Knight vacationing here in the South Jersey Area and you are interested in joining us, we meet the second and fourth Thursday of each month, year round in the church hall located at 43rd and Central Avenue. Our meetings begin at 7:30 PM.
